Tom Hendrickson

Owner and President

Tom Hendrickson has been involved with Erotas since 1995. In the early ‘80s, he worked with a large commercial construction company, where his love for construction began. In 1997, Tom and his wife engaged Erotas to build their family home. He became passionate about the process and was on site daily to help with construction. He was so impressed with the quality and craftsmanship that went into his home that he went to work for Erotas the following year. Having experienced the process first as a client, as a craftsman, and now as a builder, Tom brings a unique perspective to every project.

Tom’s excitement for the housing industry continues as he seeks out new sites to bring luxury living to Minnesota clients.

Alex Baldwin

Co-Owner of Minnesota Structures

Alex Baldwin oversees Minnesota Structures, the construction labor force company Erotas utilizes for all its projects. He has 21 years of service in the U.S. Army, from vehicle mechanic to commissioned officer at the rank of Major. Alex also has 13 years of experience as a mechanical engineer with a Fortune 500 company. He leads his team of craftsman with precision and problem-solving innovation to deliver a superior product. Beyond his professional life, he enjoys time spent with his family, grilling in the backyard, biking dirt trails, or camping under the stars.

Shelly Maki

Controller & HR Coordinator
Shelly Maki has worked with Erotas since 2000. She is responsible for the finances and general office operations — as well as keeping us all on task. Her commitment, dedication and attention to detail make her an expert at working closely with project coordinators, subcontractors, and suppliers. Away from work, Shelly enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Deb Carney

Project Coordinator
Deb Carney is one of our talented Project Coordinators. Prior to joining Erotas in 2008, she obtained a degree in interior design, specializing in high-end custom cabinetry. Her extreme attentiveness to detail and her acute organization skills are instrumental in creating spectacular projects. In her spare time, Deb enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors.

Dani Frazier

Marketing Manager & Assistant Project Coordinator
Dani Frazier joined the Erotas team in 2021 after a long corporate career in digital design, marketing, and project management. She has an inherent passion for building and remodeling stemming from a long lineage of skilled “doers.” When not working on a project at home, she is likely backpacking along Minnesota’s north shore with friends.

Mark Backman

Site Superintendent
Mark Backman has been building custom homes for more than 30 years. As Site Superintendent, he oversees projects during all phases, from foundation to move-in. Mark’s clear communication and problem-solving skills help the team work toward the overall goal of building exquisite, energy-efficient and environmentally responsible residences. He is a fast favorite with clients on the jobsite each day.
